Anas bin Nadhar r.a. is one of the Companions of Rasulullah S.a.w. who can not participate in the battle moon. he felt very sorry for because it can not be attached to the war is so continue to lament his fate that can not participate in battle is with the first and most in Islam,he is in the hope that following the war to redeem it can decrease it is. chance opportunity came in the Uhud war. he participated in it as a combatant and a daredevil spirit.
In the beginning of the war Uhud, the Muslims have gained victory. but at the end of the war, because a mistake in doing that part of the troops by Muslims, Muslims will get a final defeat.
Their error is that he S.a.w. has some of the troops to protect Muslims in certain places battlefield. Saw He gave the task to them so do not leave the place in any circumstances,because the enemy will be attacked from the rear. At the beginning of the war when the Muslims have gained victory, the heathen had fled. see this incident, the people who were given the task by Rasulullah Saw leave the job because they thought that they were winning the war was over and,and the heathen have fled, so they scramble to get the property spoils of war. As its head has banned their troops from these acts, that is, remind them that the Prophet Saw has been prohibited to leave their place of duty.
But they thought that the command of Rasulullah Saw is only valid at the time of war, and they just assume that when the war was over. end they will go to the battlefield and leave their place of duty.

when the unbelievers middle fled, they saw that the place that should keep it in the Moslems have been empty and in by the guards to leave it. end they will return the Muslims from the place that is empty. Muslims should not presume that the attack is coming so suddenly, the they are invincible and squeezed between the siege so that the heathen Muslims in the topsy turvy situation.

Anas bin Nadhar r.a. see that a friend of Sa'ad bin Muadz r.a towards its direction. Anas r.a. said, "O Sa'ad, you want to go? indeed, by Allah, I smell fragrance of Paradise comes from the mountain Uhud." after the words he brandish a sword already in his hands and continued the attack disbelieve that he killed as a martyr in the battlefield Uhud.

After he was a martyr, when the check in his body found in his body has been damaged because of injury by sharp weapons. from approximately eighty cuff injury due to a sword and arrows on his body. Only his sister are still able to recognize his fingers through his hands.
